Photography Club

Bostaurus Studios will be forming a local photography club with a strong focus on photography itself, as opposed to photographic equipment. If you are the kind of person who attends meetings like this to show off your 600mm F2.8 Prime on your top end digital body, we feel that this won't be the best group for you. Just as a great carpenter can work wonders with any tools, a great photographer can produce art with a digital point and shoot.

We are looking to get together once or twice a month to showcase the latest works produced by our members. Admission to the club is and always will be free. This club will be casual, fun, and above all else, relaxed. All levels of experience are welcome to attend, and the sharing of ideas and techniques is encouraged.

Summer Photographic Ideas

Community Events: Get out to some of your local community events and snap some pictures of what is going on. Community events are a great change to practice your candid photography. Stand back and use your zoom lens. You might find that investing in a monopod would be a good way to steady a shot.
